Men Today Versus Back Then

Text on the meme

Men today 🙄 Men back in the day 😎💪

What it means

The video first shows colorful Pride parade crowds, rainbow flags, and people celebrating under the caption “Men today 🙄”. It then switches to several increasingly ancient-looking fish and amphibious creatures under “Men back in the day 😎💪”, jokingly pretending modern men have become less traditionally masculine than their prehistoric ancestors. The absurd slideshow is paired with the upbeat electronic meme track “Túli0 — Close Eyes (Amogus Cover)”, whose playful repetition reinforces the joke.
