650 Years of Bubonic Plague
CELEBRATING 650 YEARS OF BUBONIC PLAGUE 1339-1989
A white shirt is stretched out, printed with the words “CELEBRATING 650 YEARS OF BUBONIC PLAGUE 1339-1989” above an illustration of a rat. The joke is the absurdly cheerful celebration of a deadly historical disease, using dark humor and an anachronistic anniversary design as a reaction to plague, disease, or catastrophic events.
