What it means

At a fast-food counter, a customer presents a coupon while another person carries a live chicken into the restaurant. The employee is shocked, but the customer insists he will take a picture of the chicken; the final “Dead.” punchline jokes that the chicken is supposedly no longer alive or that the absurd situation has ended the conversation.
