Carefully Choosing Memes for Friends

Text on the meme

Me carefully sending memes to my homies on the basis of their humor

What it means

Walter White from Breaking Bad carefully tastes and evaluates something in a lab-like setting while the caption compares sending memes to friends with judging their sense of humor. The joke is that choosing which meme to send requires delicate, scientific-level consideration based on each friend’s comedic taste. Mareux’s dark, melancholic post-punk track “The Perfect Girl” makes the exaggerated seriousness feel even more dramatic and ironic.
