Walking Into the Water to Gatsu

Text on the meme

Berserk soundtrack - 4 Gatsu

What it means

A person in a burgundy sweatshirt walks along a bleak shoreline while listening to a phone, then steadily wades into the water until the scene fades to black. It cuts to a manga image of Guts from Berserk with the caption “Berserk soundtrack - 4 Gatsu,” turning an ordinary walk into an absurdly dramatic, supposedly tragic Berserk moment. The joke is used as a reaction to exaggerated sadness, emotional collapse, or melodramatic behavior, amplified by Susumu Hirasawa’s intense song “Gats.”
