my mom saying no me as a kid asking for a puppy me saying no my mom asking for grandchildren

What it means

A two-panel video game meme shows a child asking his mother for a puppy while she says no, then reverses the roles years later: the adult child refuses when his mother asks for grandchildren. The joke is about parents denying childhood requests and later receiving the same rejection when they want grandchildren.
