At Doom’s Doorstep
At doom’s doorstep: It is 100 seconds to midnight IT IS 100 SECONDS TO MIDNIGHT
A masked woman and man stand beside the Doomsday Clock display, which shows 100 seconds to midnight. The joke treats the alarming nuclear-risk warning as if doom were literally arriving at the door, making it useful as an absurd reaction to an imminent disaster or looming deadline.
