A stylized map shows a proposed city called Charliquerque in New Mexico, with “New Mexico” and “America” crossed out and replaced by “New America.” The joke imagines an absurd renaming of New Mexico and asks whether this invented city should become the capital. It is used as a surreal reaction to grandiose renaming ideas or bizarre alternate geography.
