Steam Sale for Three Cents
Your item has been successfully sold on the steam marketplace for $0.03
A video shows a group of formally dressed men in an office reacting with escalating distress after the on-screen message announces that their item sold on the Steam marketplace for only $0.03. The men move around in shock and one walks away defeated, turning a tiny sale into an absurdly dramatic financial tragedy. The clip is set to The Animals’ “The House of the Rising Sun,” whose somber folk-rock mood makes the trivial loss feel melodramatic and devastating.
