The Years Get Worse
2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2022 I am once again asking you for your financial support.
A video rapidly progresses through the years from 2016 to 2022, surrounding a smiling Mr. Incredible with increasingly strange pop-culture characters and memes. His face becomes darker, distorted, and finally monstrous, turning the passage of time into an absurd joke about each year getting progressively worse. The song “Grammar Boy” by Bush plays over the montage, giving the escalating visuals a dramatic, nostalgic music-video feel.
