A highway overpass is covered with crabs, while a vehicle drives beneath it. The joke absurdly presents a crab crossing as civic infrastructure and urges people to lobby senators for crab bridges in their cities. It is used as an absurd reaction to unreasonable activism or a bizarre public-works proposal.
