A woman casually places a bagel into a countertop cutter, then the video cuts to a man struggling intensely to use the same gadget in a kitchen. He finally splits the bagel and reacts with exaggerated disbelief, parodying the absurdity of needing a $39.95 specialty tool for a simple task. The dramatic music and over-the-top physical reactions make an ordinary bagel cut feel like an epic battle.
