Sharks Older Than Polaris

"sharks are older than the north star" is now the worst fact i know not as in "polaris wasnt the north star when sharks first evolved" the star polaris is literally just younger than sharks. i find this really upsetting

A dark-mode Twitter/X screenshot shows a user reacting with disbelief to the fact that sharks are older than Polaris, followed by a clarification that Polaris itself is younger than sharks. The joke is the absurdly emotional response to a harmless astronomical and evolutionary fact, used as a reaction to unsettling trivia.
