Superman Says Keep School American

...AND REMEMBER, BOYS AND GIRLS, YOUR SCHOOL—LIKE OUR COUNTRY—IS MADE UP OF AMERICANS OF MANY DIFFERENT RACES, RELIGIONS AND NATIONAL ORIGINS. SO . . . ...if you hear anybody talk against a schoolmate or anyone else because of his religion, race or national origin—don't wait: tell him THAT KIND OF TALK IS UN-AMERICAN. HELP KEEP YOUR SCHOOL ALL AMERICAN!

Superman speaks to a diverse group of schoolchildren, telling them that schools and the country are made up of people from many races, religions, and national origins. The poster urges students to reject prejudice and call out discriminatory talk as “un-American,” making it a reaction image about condemning bigotry or promoting tolerance.
