Laserdisc Will Have Its Day

You can't UN-invent a technology. You can't put the genie back in the bottle once it's in the hands of the people. Laserdisc WILL have its day

A screenshot of a social media post argues that once technology reaches the public, it cannot be uninvented, dramatically predicting that Laserdisc will eventually become popular. The joke is the overly serious revivalist defense of an obsolete format, treating Laserdisc’s forgotten status as a temporary setback.
