Capybara Has a Good Day

Just waking up in the morning I don't know, but today seems kinda odd No barking from the dog And mama cooked the breakfast with no hog I got my grub on Finally got a call from a girl I wanna dig out As I hit the door Thinking will I live Another twenty four

A sequence of capybaras and other animals acts out the lyrics of Ice Cube’s “It Was a Good Day”: waking up, enjoying an unusually peaceful morning, eating breakfast, getting a romantic call, leaving home, and wondering whether the good luck will last another 24 hours. The joke comes from treating the famously confident rap lyrics as a literal capybara day-in-the-life montage, with the relaxed West Coast hip-hop mood making the absurd animal footage feel unexpectedly cool and triumphant.
