A red-haired anime-style plush doll sits beneath a list of kind New Year wishes that are progressively crossed out and replaced with hostile ones like “dead,” “died,” and “hope you’re dying.” The joke is the escalating contrast between the sweet, innocent character and the brutally bitter wishes, making it useful as an ironic reaction to toxic people or unresolved grudges.

I hope my ex is Sarah I hope my old friends who I outgrown are Ben I hope everyone who has done me dirty has Die Anybody I hurt? I Fuck you're dying Forgiveness is SELL I'm ready for some serious blessings this year
