She Bursts Into Grey Moths
You lean in to kiss her, but a sudden noise from your open window startles her, and she bursts into a thousand grey moths that scatter to the late autumn air. You smile to yourself and turn your bedside lamp on. She always finds her way home by morning.
A poetic dark-background text post describes a romantic kiss interrupted when the woman transforms into grey moths and flies away, while the narrator turns on a bedside lamp and expects her return by morning. The absurd, gothic punchline treats a moth as a mysterious lover drawn back by light, making it a reaction for bizarrely romantic, surreal, or melodramatic situations.
