Look Directly at Implosion
IN CASE OF IMPLOSION LOOK DIRECTLY AT IMPLOSION Valve actually put that sign in game because playtesters would destroy the generator and then turn around immediately and not see the implosion animation they’d worked so hard on.
A Portal test chamber displays a sign instructing players to look directly at an implosion. The joke is that Valve added the sign because playtesters kept destroying the generator and turning away before seeing the carefully made implosion animation, making it a humorous example of developers guiding players toward content they worked hard on.
