Errol Musk's Emerald Story

Errol Musk told the US Sun "When I read that, I wondered, ‘Can I enter, because I can prove it existed.’ Elon knows it’s true. All the kids know about it. My daughter has three or four emerald pendants." Adding "Elon saw them (the emeralds) at our house. He knew I was selling them."

A screenshot quotes Errol Musk claiming that his daughter owned several emerald pendants and that Elon Musk knew he was selling them. The joke is the bizarre, unverifiable family anecdote and the implication that Elon’s childhood connection to emeralds supports stories about his father’s wealth. It is shared as an absurd reaction to discussions about Elon Musk’s background and emerald mines.
