WorkManager 2.6 Is Stable

In WorkManager 2.6, we implemented the ability for Workers to run in any designated processes and as of today, WorkManager 2.6 is now stable! However, WorkManager 2.6 is not compatible with apps targeting Android 12 (API level 31). So once your app is targeting Android 12, you should instead switch to using WorkManager 2.7. Changes in WorkManager 2.7 are backwards compatible, so you could also skip 2.6 right away.
