How do you view source code?

How do you view source code? https://i.imgur.com/2PWtuQP.png #143 I'm kinda noob how do you guys recode the malwares or open it's code etc? I'm using Atom and Vscode, etc. It seems its using an alien programming language or cryptography when I unzip it and read its code? How to view the malwares samples, pdf, conf, txt, c..., codes because I already clicked hundred times nothings happening?

A screenshot of a GitHub issue shows a confused beginner asking how to open malware code and describing an unreadable folder of files. The joke is the exaggerated cluelessness and the absurd assumption that malware must be written in an alien language or cryptography, making it a reaction to being unable to understand code or files.
