Please Let Me Be Your Girlfriend

Text on the meme

won't ask you to fall for me immediate and I don't mind if you only see it as a trial at first, but please let me be your girlfriend!

What it means

An anime girl shyly confesses that she wants to be someone’s girlfriend, with captions describing a low-pressure trial relationship. The clip then cuts to a blurry live-action child enthusiastically climbing onto and hugging another person, turning the earnest confession into an absurd reaction gag. The song “Silly Af Song” by Shmovin adds upbeat, deliberately goofy energy and makes the sudden physical reaction feel even more ridiculous.
