Danger: Quicksand Sign Reveal

Text on the meme

DANGER Quicksand

What it means

A shaky outdoor video zooms in on a warning sign reading “DANGER Quicksand,” then tilts down to reveal a rough wooden and barbed-wire fence instead of any visible quicksand. The joke is the absurdly misplaced or misleading warning, made even funnier by the upbeat electronic music; it works as a reaction to an unexpectedly dangerous or nonsensical situation. The soundtrack is Tobu’s bright, bouncy EDM track “Candyland,” creating a playful contrast with the ominous warning.
