68,000 Lines of Code
(Also I did not write "850,000 lines of code" -- many of those "lines" tracked by github are in model files. There are about 68,000 lines in the current software, and I don't care how many of those I personally authored)
A Twitter screenshot shows a developer clarifying that GitHub’s reported 850,000 lines of code include model files, while the actual software contains about 68,000 lines. The joke is a defensive, technical correction of an exaggerated coding statistic, used as a reaction when someone takes credit for an inflated code count.
