Left-Handed Code Indentation
Is it better to indent your code from left to right or right to left? Been hearing different opinions findNumber(arr, k): for i in range(0, len(ar if (arr[i] == k and return "YES" return "NO" = [1,2,3,4,5] 5 nt(findNumber(arr, k)) def findNumber(arr for i in range(0, len(a if (arr[i] == k and k != 0 return "YES" return "NO" arr = [1,2,3,4,5] k = 5 print(findNumber(ar It's easier to code right to left because then the code doesn't smudge if you're left handed
A screenshot of two tweets compares code indented from left to right and right to left, with a second tweet joking that left-handed programmers should code right to left so their hand does not smudge the writing. The punchline applies the problem of smudging handwritten text to programming code, creating a silly justification for reversed indentation.
