First Day at the Crematorium

My first day working at the crematorium

What it means

A person in a black shirt and white gloves repeatedly handles and mouths a stream of fine white powder over a large container. The crematorium caption turns the messy, absurd action into a dark joke, as if a new worker is accidentally eating or processing cremated remains; it works as a reaction to an overwhelming first day at a disturbing job. The audio emphasizes the joke with harsh rubbing, rasping, and filing-like sounds, creating an uncomfortable industrial texture rather than a musical mood.

Sound

rub filing (rasp)wood
