Japan Is Living in the Future

Text on the meme

japan is living in the future😮 man wtf is this thing doing😭😭💀

What it means

A hand places a round piece of dough and filling into a small countertop machine. The device folds and shapes the dough into a neat dumpling, making the narrator jokingly marvel that “Japan is living in the future.” The surreal gadget demonstration is paired with 松原みき’s “真夜中のドア〜stay with me,” a smooth Japanese city-pop song whose upbeat, nostalgic mood makes the ordinary kitchen contraption feel dramatically futuristic and heightens the joke.
