Functional Programming Advocate Concedes Imperative Nature
I am an advocate for the benefits of functional programming, but I do tend to think that there is something deeper than just a cultural bias towards imperative programming in people — imperative actions are probably more broadly “natural”.
A screenshot of a tweet arguing that although functional programming has benefits, imperative programming may feel more natural because people themselves tend to think and act imperatively. The joke is a self-aware concession from a programming advocate that human nature may favor the programming style they are debating.
