GitHub to replace "master" with alternative term to avoid slavery references

What it means

A split-panel image shows a worried-looking puppet with the Mastercard logo over its head. The joke reacts to GitHub replacing the term “master” because of its association with slavery, while ironically displaying the Mastercard logo, which still contains the word “master.” It is used to mock awkward corporate language changes and performative political correctness.
