Obedience Is Important, Billy
“Obedience is important, Billy.” “If you don’t obey me, I might have to kill you.”
A cartoon police officer kneels beside a young boy named Billy and explains that obedience is important. The joke is the absurdly threatening “lesson” about obeying authority, making the image useful as a darkly humorous reaction to strict rules or coercion.
