The Russia You’re Choosing

(The year is 2035, Russia.) Putin's presidential term is over. This is the Russia you're choosing.

A staged family scene set in 2035 shows a father, mother, and child eating together, with the child presenting a drawing of a happy family under a rainbow. The father then reveals that Putin’s presidential term is over, before delivering the sarcastic punchline: “This is the Russia you’re choosing.” Background music gives the clip a dramatic, ironic tone and heightens the mock-serious political joke.
