Italy Greece Eternal Rivalry

>Take turns conquering and occupying each others territory since the bronze age >Have shared mythology of being enemies and epics about how each other's heroes suck >Their rivalry once caused all of Christendom to split in two >Fight again in WW2 >Remain Friends

Two mirrored muscular men representing Italy and Greece face each other with their national flags. The joke highlights the countries’ long history of rivalry, conquest, shared mythology, religious conflict, and fighting in World War II, contrasted with their enduring friendship. It is used as a reaction to describe nations or friends who constantly feud but remain close. EN: Two mirrored muscular men representing Italy and Greece face each other with their national flags.
