Ukraine Fiber Optic Drone Field
Photo of a field in the Ukrainian war zone covered with fiber optic cables left by FPV drones. Ukraine and Russia are using unjammable drones connected with tiny optical fiber with a range of 10-20 km (6–12 miles). This fiber threads ends up on the ground at the end of the drone's use.
A field in a Ukrainian war zone is shown covered in thin fiber-optic cables, alongside a hand holding tangled strands. The joke is the absurd visual aftermath of fiber-optic FPV drones, whose cables remain scattered across the landscape after use.
