Cat Explains Fish Overlay

Text on the meme

Me at 3am trying to understand the guy in the speedrunning explanation video fish overlay

What it means

A wide-eyed cat stares at the camera before the video cuts to a speedrunning explanation showing a fish overlay in a game cave, with a red arrow pointing toward a feature. The clip then returns to the confused cat. The joke is that the technical explanation is so confusing that the viewer reacts with stunned disbelief, making it useful as a reaction to incomprehensible tutorials or speedrun commentary.

Speech

This is contained in what is known as a fish overlay. This fish overlay is key to the draw function SRM as it points the draw function of an actor in Lost Woods to the instruction in the fish
