Kanye West on Premature Optimization
early optimization is the root of evil you are not gonna need it don't repeat yourself individuals and interactions over processes and tools
A screenshot of four Kanye West tweets parodying software engineering principles: “early optimization,” YAGNI, DRY, and the Agile Manifesto phrase about individuals and interactions. The joke is that Kanye presents famous programming and development maxims as if they were his own consecutive thoughts, making the image useful as a reaction to overcomplicated engineering advice or software architecture debates.
