Fly, Bears, and Mice
WHY WOULD A FLY EVER LAND ON SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE THAT? COME ON BEARS, HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY LET YOURSELF GET STUCK IN THIS? MICE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF GETTING CAUGHT OFF GUARD BY SOMETHING SO OBVIOUS.
A four-panel ButterSafe comic shows a fly landing on a Venus flytrap, a bear caught in a bear trap, and a mouse caught in a mousetrap. The characters mock other animals for falling into traps that look obviously dangerous, then the final panel reveals a person working at a computer while wearing a necktie that resembles a mousetrap trigger. The joke is ironic self-awareness: humans also overlook obvious traps and dangers.
