Shark Wants to Play Chess
Why don't you guys go for a swim in the water? No way shark you'll just eat us. No I just want to... play chess. Nice try shark.
A shark invites two stick figures to swim, claiming it only wants to play chess. The figures distrust the shark, and the final panel reveals a chessboard underwater, making the shark’s suspicious invitation technically truthful but obviously dangerous. It is used as an absurd reaction to deceptive excuses or risky offers.
