Servers Survive on Tips

SWADLEY'S BAR-B-Q World Famous DID YOU KNOW OUR SERVERS SURVIVE ON YOUR TIPPING KINDNESS? Thank you!

A Swadley’s Bar-B-Q sign says that its servers survive on customers’ tipping kindness, next to a tipped-over gray Swadley’s-branded object with a speech bubble saying “Thank you!”. The joke takes “servers” literally, implying that the restaurant’s physical equipment depends on tips and is grateful for them. It works as an absurd reaction meme about tipping culture and overly direct wording.
