Nugget Sauce Primer-Coat Theory
SAUCE BOY I go knuckle deep on my sauces. If I can still see the nugget, it's simply not sauced enough. Even if you only had the ranch(?), there'd still be enough sauce for two bowls of nuggets. Diplet detected. You do multiple coats. Ranch is a fat-based condiment, and therefore will not be "rinsed" off by the vinegar or tomato-based condiments. So you submerge the nugget in ranch, essentially as a primer-coat. And then you submerge in the secondary dip of your choice.
A tray of dipping sauces and a bowl of chicken nuggets are shown above an imageboard-style discussion featuring a green frog in a “SAUCE BOY” shirt. The joke treats dipping nuggets in multiple sauces like applying primer and secondary coats of paint, insisting that a nugget is not sufficiently sauced until it disappears. This meme is used as an absurd reaction to excessive condiment enthusiasm or elaborate food rituals.
