The Next Euler Identity
I just discovered this absolutely insane identity, am I the next oiler? √(1/2) = 0.707106781187 √2/2 = 0.707106781187
A screenshot compares two mathematically equivalent expressions for the same decimal value: the square root of one-half and the square root of two divided by two. The joke is the exaggerated claim of discovering an “insane identity” and becoming the next Euler, with “oiler” as a misspelled pun on Euler.
