The 16.6-second clip opens with “2021,” then shows a hand opening a panel to reveal two water meters. As the meters remain on screen, movie-style end credits roll, presenting a melodramatic 2025 recap and hopeful 2026 resolutions. The joke comes from treating ordinary household utility meters as the protagonists of an epic personal story, while Meryl Streep’s emotional rendition of “The Winner Takes It All” makes the mundane footage feel triumphantly tragic and sentimental.
