Merry Christmas Western Violence

Text on the meme

MERRY CHRISTMAS! MERRY CHRISTMAS! GOFIK-

What it means

A rugged cowboy-like man in a dark Western setting is covered with falling snow and edited with a Santa hat and Christmas presents. He greets the viewer with “MERRY CHRISTMAS!” while standing among apparent bodies, then the clip cuts to him in a violent Western confrontation. The cheerful Christmas greeting and Wham!’s sentimental “Last Christmas” contrast absurdly with the grim, action-heavy imagery, making it a dark holiday reaction meme.
