Giving Advice vs Living My Life

Text on the meme

me, giving advices vs me, living my life

What it means

A two-panel image shows BoJack Horseman carefully tending a potted plant while giving advice, then lounging drunkenly in a messy room surrounded by empty cans and bottles. The joke is the contrast between giving sensible advice to others and failing to follow that advice in one’s own life, so it is used as a self-deprecating reaction to hypocrisy or bad habits.
