Holiday Ends, Work Resumes

I have never come back from any holiday feeling relaxed, refreshed & reinvigorated to get back into work. I come back with the taste of freedom, still fresh in my mouth, a renewed hatred for work, and a strong suspicion that this is not what I should be spending my life doing.

A screenshot-style social media post describes returning from holiday with no desire to resume work. The joke is that time off restores the taste of freedom and makes the absurdity of spending life working feel even more obvious, so it works as a reaction to post-vacation dread and Monday misery.
