What it means

A four-panel comic shows a person trying to create art by adding a “HARD WORK” sign, but nothing happens until Peter Griffin emerges from the art pot. The joke is that art suddenly becomes successful and valuable when Peter Griffin, a recognizable Family Guy character, appears, with hearts, money symbols, and an IRS tax audit suggesting fame and financial attention.
