Explaining Mom's Bad Decision

Text on the meme

attempting to explain to your mother that she may, at some point in her life, have made a non-optimal decision

What it means

A person is attempting to explain to their mother that she may have made a bad decision, while holding tools over a bomb with a countdown timer. The absurdly dangerous setup turns a mild family conversation into a tense bomb-disposal situation, making it a reaction to explaining an obvious mistake to someone defensive.
