Midsommar Has No ABBA

Text on the meme

Ellie Ward Midsommar 2019 ★★★★ Watched 10 Jul 2021 For a movie based in Sweden there was not 1 ABBA song featured in the soundtrack

What it means

A dark movie-review screenshot rates Midsommar four stars and complains that a film set in Sweden contains no ABBA songs. The joke is the deliberately shallow, cheerful expectation of pop music from ABBA in a disturbing folk-horror film; it is used to react to misplaced expectations about a movie or country.
