What it means

A low-resolution photo shows a young man smoking beside a dark-haired girl in an alley, with the words referencing Avril Lavigne's “Sk8er Boi” lyric. An Instagram-style empty-profile box covers the middle, joking that their supposed romance has produced no posts or public evidence. It is used as an ironic reaction to a relationship or a dramatic social-media story that goes nowhere.
