Coca-Cola 9/11 Memorial Display

Text on the meme

Coca-Cola Walmart 9-11-01 WE WILL NEVER FORGET Rollback $3.33 $3.98 Sprite Coke

What it means

A Walmart Coca-Cola display is arranged like a memorial, with soda cases forming a patriotic American flag beneath a banner reading “WE WILL NEVER FORGET” and “9-11-01.” The joke comes from turning a solemn 9/11 remembrance into an aggressively commercial soft-drink promotion, making it an ironic reaction to tasteless advertising and excessive brand patriotism.
